He rose to prominence in the early 1990s and has performed and recorded with numerous jazz icons including Shirley Scott, Jimmy Smith, Donald Byrd, Dizzy Gillespie, Nicholas Payton, Stefon Harris, Christian McBride, Terell Stafford and many others.
