TILTPlease Join Modern Richmond on October 23rd at 5:30 PM for a tour of <a href="https://tiltcp.com/" title="https://tiltcp.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tilt Creative + Production Studio</a>. The renovation of Tilt, a minority- and women-owned creative studio based in Richmond’s historic Shockoe neighborhood, transforms an 1870s timber and brick structure into a dynamic, modern workspace that honors both the building’s and the area’s complex history. The design reveals the building’s original character by removing walls, exposing original features like the brick and timber structure, and amplifying natural light through historic windows and skylights. The project features bold colors, custom furniture, dynamic textures, and curated artwork from local and minority creators, the space offers a mix of private, semi-private, and collaborative areas that support Tilt’s dynamic creative work. Modern amenities, natural light, and plant life foster a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere, reflecting Tilt’s authentic and comfortable brand identity. The architecture by <a href="https://www.bobarchitecture.net/" title="https://www.bobarchitecture.net/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bob Architecture</a>, interior design was by <a href="https://campfireandco.com/" title="https://campfireandco.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Campfire &amp; Co</a> and the contractor for the project was <a href="https://teamhenryent.com/" title="https://teamhenryent.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Team Henry Enterprises</a>. Street parking is available and paid parking is available at the parking deck at at 12th Street and Shockoe Lane [ across from the Omni Hotel drop-off ].
