<h2>Tile Making - 6 Week Course</h2> Tuesday, March 3, 20269:00 AM – 12:00 PM ESTUsing the medium of clay offers people the unique ability to make objects for both utilitarian and decorative roles. In this course, students will delve into the world of tile making, both as sculpture and as functional pieces. While exploring multiple methods for creating small batches of tile, there will be a strong emphasis on hand building, slab rolling, and one-part press molding clay tiles. This course is for beginner and intermediate levels. Students will be encouraged to design and pursue their unique and highly personal tile ideas, while learning to incorporate many different surfacing techniques such as embossing, engraving, image making, and glaze finishing.
