Workshop: Practical AI for Real Estate Agents

The SAMCAR Professional Development Committee is pleased to invite SAMCAR Affiliate, The Librarian—virtual AI assistant for real estate agents—to provide a second AI workshop focused on practical tools for real estate agents. Our first AI workshop with the team from The Librarian packed our classroom and agents left asking for more. This isn't a typical lecture; it's a hands-on and interactive session, with live demos, open discussion, and plenty of time for your questions.

Topics covered include:

• The fears of using AI. Replacement, liability, privacy, sounding robotic, breaking rules. We'll show how you stay in control. Inspired by EJ's recent session with the Board of Directors at C.A.R.'s REimagine! conference.
• Design and websites. Build a listing flyer and a property page two ways: Canva for a quick start, Claude for more power.
• Listing descriptions. A purpose-built tool against ChatGPT and Claude, side by side, plus how to keep your voice and stay fair-housing safe.
• Communication and CRMs. The AI already inside your CRM, and what an assistant like The Librarian adds for emails, texts, and scheduling.
• Virtual staging and AB 723. Stage a room live, then learn California's new rules for disclosing altered listing photos.
• Wrap-up and Q&A. Leave with one tool to try over the weekend and a take-home checklist to become AI proficient.
