Life in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Life in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Overview

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing our world – but what does it really mean for us, our families and our future?

From healthcare and everyday technology to employment, communication and personal security, artificial intelligence is becoming part of our daily lives, often without us even realising it.

The Kensington & Chelsea Over 50s Forum is delighted to welcome Dr Blay Whitby, a leading researcher, philosopher and expert in the ethical and social implications of artificial intelligence, for a fascinating and accessible talk exploring the opportunities, challenges and risks of this rapidly developing technology.

What will we explore?

  • AI in everyday life: How artificial intelligence is already changing the way we live, work and communicate.
  • The benefits of AI: How this technology could improve healthcare, services and our quality of life.
  • Scams, fraud and misinformation: Understanding AI-generated deception, deepfakes and the risks to our personal security.
  • The future of jobs and society: How AI could reshape employment, relationships and everyday activities.
  • Who controls AI? Why ethical standards, safeguards and international regulation are becoming increasingly important.
