We invite you to register for the Women in Data Science (WiDS) Central Mass Conference independently organized by WPI, Thriving with Data Science in an AI-Driven World: From Learning to Career Impact. The conference is Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 10am – 2pm EST in person at the Rubin Campus Center, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA. The event is generously sponsored by WIN, Microsoft, and WPI.
WiDS Central MA features panelists from academia and industry, with a focus on career readiness and growth. Panelists include Statistical and Data Sciences Professor from Smith College, Shiya Cao, Ph.D., AI/ML Software Engineer from Microsoft, Sushmitha Rajeswari Muppa, M.S., Distinguished Engineer from Dell Technologies, Himabindu Tummala, M.S., Executive Director of Institutional Research & Assessment from WPI, Elissa Chin Lu, Ph.D., and Technical Recruiter and Founder of Purely Tech Recruitment, Karin Prah.
