Beyond IQ: Culture, Creativity & AI

Let's celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an evening of learning and networking.

Join us for our next in-person event with SOMOS.tech and the SHPE | San Francisco Bay Area Chapter.

You’ll learn from two experts who offer very different yet highly complementary perspectives on how we work, communicate, create, and grow in today’s technology landscape.

Carla Yashiro
Former Hitachi and NBCUniversal Telemundo Communications Strategist, will explore how to navigate multicultural environments with greater cultural intelligence. You’ll learn to communicate across cultures, strengthen your influence, elevate your voice, and build the cross-cultural awareness that can help you grow and scale your career.

Then, Tomasz Opasinski, Creative Technologist at Adobe, will challenge the way you think about creativity in the age of AI. You’ll explore how to strengthen your creative thinking, push beyond predictable ideas, use lateral thinking to generate new possibilities, and work with AI to create more distinctive and memorable outcomes.

The goal is not to let AI think for you.

It is to become better at thinking with AI.

You should leave this event looking at your day-to-day work differently: seeing more opportunities to elevate your voice, understanding cultural differences with greater awareness, and approaching AI as a tool that amplifies your creativity rather than replaces it.

You remain at the center of the interaction. Your perspective shapes the strategy. Your creativity drives the ideas. And your voice helps build the solution.

Join us for an evening of learning, new perspectives, and conversations with the SOMOS.tech and SHPE | San Francisco Bay Area Chapter community.
