ReelTalk – 2026-27 Season
Theme: “Made in MoCo: Hollywood Comes to Maryland!”
ReelTalk’s 2026-27 season will feature films prominently made in Montgomery County, celebrating classic and contemporary movies which use the County’s cultural resources and communities to tell vibrant, exciting, and emotionally powerful stories.
All screenings begin at 7PM, with doors opening at 6:30PM
October 14: The Blair Witch Project
(1999, U.S., R, 81 mins., dirs. Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez, Artisan)
Three film students vanish after traveling into a Maryland forest to film a documentary on the local Blair Witch legend, leaving only their footage behind.
November 11: Lilith

A war veteran gets work at a mental institution, where he meets the beautiful and eccentric Lilith.
December 9: I Never Promised You a Rose Garden

A disturbed, institutionalized 16-year-old girl struggles between fantasy and reality.
January 13: A Year and Change
(2015, U.S., Not Rated, 93 mins., dir. Stephen Suettinger, Vision Films)
An all-star cast headlines this critically-acclaimed story about a young man who, after falling off a roof at a New Year's party, decides it's time to make some changes in his life, such as reconnecting with his son and falling in love.
February 10: Chances Are

A reincarnated man unknowingly falls in love with his own daughter from his previous life. Once he realizes this, he tries to end their relationship before angels erase his memory.
March 10: Philomena

A law student uncovers a conspiracy, putting herself and others in danger.
