One of Mixtape's most-loved events is back!

If you've ever dreamed of spending an afternoon wandering through endless sunflower fields, picking your own bouquet, laughing with friends, and soaking up the best of summer... this is your chance.

Join Mixtape Sapphics for our 2nd Annual Sapphic Sunflower Soirée—a relaxed afternoon designed to bring our community together in one of the most beautiful settings of the year.

Whether you come with friends, your partner, your family, or all by yourself, you'll find a welcoming space to connect, explore, and simply enjoy being surrounded by queer community.

This is a family friendly event. We're centered on queer women and sapphics 35+, but everyone is welcome. If you feel like you belong, you belong.

Your ticket includes

🌻 Admission to the Sunflower Fields starting at 2 pm, you can stay till they close. Our event ends at 7 pm

🌻 Pick 10 fresh-cut sunflower stems to take home (our event includes 10 stems regardless of the farm's regular flower-picking tiers)

🌻 Unlimited access to the sunflower fields for wandering, exploring, and taking photos starting at 2 pm

🌻 Hayrides (subject to availability; if the farm is unable to provide hayrides for any reason, including equipment issues, we are not responsible).

Our Private Sapphic Soirée

From 2:00–7:00 PM, we'll have our own large private tent reserved just for Mixtape Sapphics.

Come hang in the tent to:

💜 Meet new people and reconnect with familiar faces

🎲 Enjoy casual games and activities

🎵 Relax with a summer playlist and dance if the mood strikes

🌻 Take breaks in the shade between adventures through the fields

Last year we filled the tent, so if you have a favorite camp chair, you're welcome to bring it along for extra comfortable seating. We have tables and chairs for about 30, and picnic carpets to sit on. Pleae bring anything you want to stay comfortable.

There will be plenty of time to wander the flowers, chat over lunch, play games, or simply enjoy a slow summer afternoon together.

Food & Drinks

The farm offers food and beverages for purchase throughout the day.

You're also welcome to bring your own picnic, snacks, and beverages if you'd prefer.

Dress for Summer

This is one of the most beautiful days of the year for photos.

Wear the sundress, overalls, linen outfit, floppy hat, or whatever makes you feel your best—you'll definitely want to capture memories among the sunflowers.

Event Details

Parking: Free onsite

Accessibility: The fields are natural terrain. Our private tent includes tables and seating, though bringing your own chair is encouraged if you'd like guaranteed comfortable seating.

Family Friendly: Everyone is welcome. Our events are centered on queer women and sapphics 35+, and children are welcome to attend with family.

Weather: Light rain won't stop us! If severe weather is forecast, we'll communicate any changes to all ticket holders.

By attending a Mixtape Sapphics event, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded by our team, volunteers, and fellow participants for promotional use. Photos and videos may be submitted to us by attendees and may be used for social media, event recaps, and other marketing materials now or in the future.

Your presence at the event implies agreement to the use of your image, voice, and likeness—without compensation—in any media created by or for Mixtape Sapphics. You release Mixtape Sapphics and its partners from any liability related to such usage.
