A Joyous Community - Beethoven's Symphony No. 9
Celebrate LSO's 35th anniversary at the opening concert which features the glorious Beethoven Symphony No. 9.
The LSO and Loudoun's other leading arts organizations, the Master Singers of Virginia and Loudoun Lyric Opera are collaborating to celebrate the LSO's 35th anniversary and will perform Beethoven's glorious masterwork, Symphony No. 9.
The Ninth is regarded by many as a masterpiece of Western classical music and was the first example of a major composer scoring vocal parts for a symphony. While it is one of the most frequently performed symphonies in the world, this is the first time it has been presented in Loudoun County.
Seating - Doors open at 7:00 PM. The concert is approximately 80 minutes and will be performed without intermission. Seating is "general admission."
