Hosted by Quinton and Sharon Wilder in partnership with the Kunta Kinte Celebration Committee, this exclusive gathering brings together history, entertainment, cuisine, community, and culture in the heart of historic downtown Annapolis.

Set against the backdrop of one of Maryland’s most historic communities, guests will enjoy an immersive experience designed to celebrate the journey, achievements, and contributions of African Americans while creating meaningful connections for the future.

About Juneteenth

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, the day enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. Today, Juneteenth is recognized as a celebration of freedom, perseverance, culture, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.
