Rockville Science Center Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization with the goal of launching a vibrant science facility that will offer people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to explore the wonders of science and connect with the scientific community in our region.

Rockville Makerspace Classes

The Rockville Makerspace and Tool Library empowers the people of Montgomery County, Maryland and surrounding areas to turn their ideas into reality by applying a wide range of new and old technologies.

<p>You may: bring your own sewing machine (optional) your own project supplies (optional) or a past project to show and tell (again, optional). Chat with fellow attendees about your textile projects (past, present, future), and get advice and inspiration. Samantha will be on hand with: tips, techniques, and hand sewing materials to explore and take home. She’ll also demo the Makerspace serger and interested attendees can try it out. Makerspace domestic sewing machines are not currently available for class use. All experience levels welcome. For adults or kids 8+ with parent participation</p><p>Fee: $5 for nonmembers/free for Makerspace members</p>
