<h2>Prizes</h2>The top 25% of players will receive ARA points ("arabux").Cash prizes for top four! At 48 registered attendees, we will double each prize's value!<ul><li>First place: $150</li><li>Second place: $120</li><li>Third place: $80</li><li>Fourth place: $50</li></ul>Charm City Riichi merchandise will also be available for purchase. <h2>Ruleset &amp; Format</h2><ul><li><a href="https://www.worldriichi.org/wrc-rules" title="https://www.worldriichi.org/wrc-rules" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">WRC 2025</a></li><li>Lower penalties</li><li>Nagashi mangan</li><li>15/5 uma</li><li>Atamahane nashi (double and triple ron are ON!)</li><li>10 hanchan scramble, top 4 cut for final two rounds*</li><li>75 minutes + 0 per hanchan.</li></ul>*Top 4 players are locked after 8 rounds and will play on a final table of 2 rounds with their tournament points reset to 0. Everyone else will continue their last 2 rounds as usual. All participants will play a complete 10 rounds over the course of the event.
