Do I need to buy any special attire for the class?

For the trial class, your child can wear comfortable clothing like leggings, t-shirts, or activewear. Bare feet dance is preferred.

What if my child has no dance experience?

No worries! The trial class is designed for beginners. Bharatnatyam is a highly structured dance form, and we’ll introduce your child to its basic moves and rhythm at a pace they can follow. It’s all about learning while having fun!

What if my child enjoys the trial class and wants to continue?

If your child loves the trial class, we’d be thrilled to have them continue! You can register them for regular Bharatnatyam classes, where they’ll continue building on the basics and advance in their learning.

Can my child bring a friend to the trial class?

Of course! If your child has a friend who’s also interested in trying out the class, feel free to bring them along. We love sharing the dance experience with new friends!

In this beginner-friendly Bharatanatyam introductory class at Saanwee Performing Arts, young learners explore the foundations of the art form through expressive movement, rhythm training, and creative learning. Children are introduced to adavus (basic footwork), mudras (hand gestures), rhythmic patterns, and expressive storytelling, helping them build coordination, focus, and confidence.

This session is designed especially for beginners and offers a joyful first experience with classical dance.
