Where else will you have the unique opportunity to see collections owned by area residents? No where else! Only at The Collectors Showcase!
Our featured exhibit for most of May, "Honoring Mothers," include dressing table items (like vintage perfume bottles and powder boxes), and our "color of the month" is purple for the Lilac Festival, so we have some lovely amethyst glass on display.
Other displays include vintage pastel glassware; bold and beautiful colored glass, such as rearing-horse bookends and elegant swan-shaped bowls, and 1800s transferware china, character beer steins, and classic toys.
Featured exhibits - with hundreds of pieces each - include Hummel figurines, Currier & Ives reproductions, four types of teapots, elegant teacups, decorative English tins, and Syracuse and Buffalo restaurantware.
Please join us for an introduction to this new kind of museum and then a guided tour through the galleries, where you'll see collections straight from the collectors' homes.
Unfortunately, we're not ready for children yet.
The Collectors Showcase is in the former Lauer's furniture store building, across from Pittsford Plaza.
