Overview

Take turns looking through our 16-inch telescope at binary stars, dim planets, distant galaxies

Take turns looking through our 16-inch telescope at binary stars, dim planets, distant galaxies, and other sky objects. Between individual views in the observatory dome, receive a guided sky tour standing outside under the stars to appreciate the broader picture of what you see through the telescope.

🔔 Important Event Information (All Seasons) Weather dependent: This program requires clear skies. If forecast cloud cover is greater than 40%, the event may be canceled or rescheduled and we will email an update no later than 24 hours before start time.

Email matters: All weather updates and notices are sent to the email used at checkout, so please confirm it is correct and check spam/promotions folders (the cosmos will not forward your messages).

Outdoor comfort: This is an outdoor observing program—bring a blanket and dress for changing conditions, including cooler temperatures after sunset and occasional dampness from dew. Seasonal reality check: In warmer months, consider insect repellent (mosquitoes are enthusiastic participants).
