Thoughtful Words Poetry Workshop is a place where poetry, discussion, writing and literary exploration meet.

Racine Public Library

Thoughtful Words Poetry Workshop is hosted by poet, author and blogger Esha Montgomery. The first 45 minutes of the poetry workshop will start with participant introductions and poetry reading followed by a 30 minute writing session. The last 45 minutes will provide participants with an opportunity to share their poetry with the class. We will read the work of poets such as Maya Angelou, Robert Frost and Langston Hughes in addition to many others. Writing various types of poetic forms such as prose, free verse, cinquain and haiku.Refreshments, paper and writing utensils will be provided for attendees.Hope to see you there!
