About the Band
Thomas Dollbaum is a Tampa-born, New Orleans-based singer-songwriter with an MFA in poetry, and it shows in the way he builds a song around a single sharp image. His sound sits where heartland rock, alt-country, and plainspoken folk overlap, delivered in a conversational drawl that hits hardest when he barely raises his voice.
His songs wander through Florida pine flatwoods, backroads, and the seedier corners of his home state, searching for acceptance in the in-between places and saying goodbye to lost loved ones and former selves. They carry plenty of dry humor, a few big, raw choruses, and the lived-in feel of a storyteller who has walked every mile he writes about.
