About this event

Join us in Fountain-Fletcher every third Saturday morning, April through October, for a scenic walk with new friends along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail.

We are excited to welcome the members of the Fountain Fletcher District Stroller Club at this partnered walk series. All are welcome!

10:30-11 AM | grab a coffee at one of our partnered coffee shops then meet us on the Fountain Square Plaza.

11AM-12PM | we'll go on an adventurous walk through the vibrant heart of Fountain-Fletcher

All ages and walk levels are welcome to join our inclusive community walks. Walk is stroller and dog-friendly. Participation is FREE and open to all, but registration is required. Free street parking is available throughout Fountain-Fletcher; there is a free public lot at Woodlawn & Shelby. The closest Red Line transit station is a 3-minute walk to our meeting location.

Where does the event start?

Meet us outside on the Fountain Square Plaza, 1101 Virginia Ave. Feel free to grab a coffee nearby and then join us for a meet and greet before the walk.

Can I come alone?

Of course! We foster a welcoming environment by ensuring a Walk Lead greets and makes name tags for each person, which we'll write in your neighborhood to help break the ice. First-timers get a "1" on their tags which helps you quickly identify who else is new! We typically have several newcomers.

What if I am running late, get lost or it's raining?

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome! Just note, if we do a social activity afterwards at a bar or restaurant -- they may or may not be able to join us, depending on if we sit inside or out.

Who typically shows up to walks?

Hot Walk Indy is geared for the Girls, Gays and Theys. ALL are welcome! And we get a lot of newcomers, too! Come join us :)
