Opening the Cosmic Command Center
The Third Eye (Ajna Chakra) is the subtle center of consciousness in the region between the eyebrows; the word ‘ajna’ meaning ‘command’. Through the Avatar’s Deeksha and the practice of meditation it can become the command center for the being, receiving instructions from Paramashiva Himself. It is also known as the command center because, once the chakra is activated by the Avatar, it gives the individual the power of clairvoyance, and the ability to control and influence the forces of Nature, as well as his own lower disposition.
