Third Annual Pints for Pups

<H2>Please join us for the Third Annual Pints for Pups, where great beer, fantastic one-of-a-kind art, and good food come together to help local pups find forever homes. </H2>
<H3 CLASS="MsoNormal">Not a beer drinker?  New this year we will also have wine, cocktails, and plenty of nonalcoholic drinks so there will be something for everyone. What a great way to spend an afternoon!</H3>
<H3 CLASS="MsoNormal">Details: Southbay Beer Hounds & Clay Planet are thrilled to present the Third Annual Pints for Pups, a fundraiser that will benefit the Silicon Valley Pet Project and the Thulani Program. </H3>
NEW LOCATION!!!! Major thanks to the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds for hosting us this year.  We have more space, more breweries, more artists and longer hours!  You asked and we listened!   
Participating breweries will include: Strike, Hermitage, Golden State, Santa Clara Valley, Benoit Casper, Freewheel, Taplands, Oskar Blues, and Firestone Walker. (Subject to additions and changes)  (Please note:  alcohol pouring will stop at 7 pm)
Participating food vendors will include Waffles Amore, Santa Clara County Fairgrounds' "Love Me Love My Hot Dog" food booth, and Sugar Tree (subject to additions and changes) 
Participating Wineries include Sarah's Vineyard and Satori.  Venus Spirits will also be on hand selling small cocktails. (Please note:  alcohol pouring will stop at 7 pm)
<H2 CLASS="MsoNormal">SVPP & Thulani will have adoptable pups and the ever popular Kissing booth!</H2>
As always we'll also have a donation drawing with all kinds of fabulous items up for grabs. 
AND Live entertainment throughout the day provided by <A HREF="http://bughornrex.com/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Bug Horn Rex" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bughorn Rex</A> and <A HREF="http://www.sound-decision-band.com/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Sound Decision Band" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sound Decisions</A>.
Your admission ticket (plus Eventbrite fee) includes complimentary parking at the Fairgrounds, entry to the event, and live entertainment. (Admission tickets purchased on the day of the event are $15).  
PARKING Complimentary parking for the event will be directly across from the blue arch at the Fairgrounds in LOT A at Tully and 7th. 
Tickets for Beer, Wine, and Cocktails are $5 each. Each $5 ticket is good for one beer, one glass of wine, or one cocktail 
A percentage of the proceeds from art, beer, wine, and food sales and ALL proceeds from the donation drawing will benefit The Thulani Program and the Silicon Valley Pet Project.  You may also make an additional donation ahead of time by adding a donation when buying your event tickets.  100% of the additional donations made on Eventbrite will go to our two non-profit recipients. 
About the Beneficiaries: <A HREF="http://www.svpetproject.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Silicon Valley Pet Project (SVPP)</A> is a nonprofit organization of volunteers committed to saving local at-risk shelter pets through rescue, community involvement, and education. SVPP saves animals from our local municipal shelter, the San Jose Animal Care Center. So every time they pull a dog into their foster program and free up a kennel for another dog they are actually saving 2 lives! For more information check out their website:  svpetproject.org 
The <A HREF="http://thulanidogs.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Thulani Program</A> rescues abandoned and terminally ill or very old German Shepherd dogs from California and Nevada, finds permanent homes for them, and provides funds to help with their care for the rest of their lives. These are dogs that have virtually no chance of being adopted from shelters, and through Thulani they have an opportunity to spend the rest of their lives as treasured companions.  For more information check out their website: thulanidogs.org 
A Few Logistics:   
The event is a "drop in" style fundraiser, meaning you don't have to be there the entire time (though you are welcome to stay as long as you like!).  
You need not be present to win any of our prize drawings, so don't feel like you will miss out on a fabulous prize if you depart early. 
Parking: Parking is complimentary with your admission ticket. All parking for the event will be in LOT A directly across from the blue arch (at 7th and Tully).
Please drink responsibly and take Lyft or UBER if you plan to have more than a few pints.

Is Pints for Pups dog friendly? Pints for Pups is an event to raise funds for pups in need, rather than an event for you and your pupartner to mingle with others. We ask that you leave your pups at home while you enjoy your pint. We've found that 40 tables of breakable art and lots of people drinking alcohol is not the best environment for our furry friends. No matter how well behaved and socialized the dogs are, we can't always say the same for their owners or strangers who might approach them. 
Is Pints for Pups kid friendly? Yes, children are welcome at Pints for Pups.   For children under the age of 12 admission is free.  For children over the age of 12 please purchase an admission ticket.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There are no minimum age requirements to enter the event.  However, we will be checking IDs for alcohol sales so please be sure to bring your ID.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

What's the refund policy?
Refunds will only be given if requested a minimum of 48 hours before the event. If you can't make it, you might consider donating that $10 to the cause.  :)  
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you do not need to bring a printed ticket.  Since you are purchasing your ticket through Eventbrite we will have your name on the list at check-in.    
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes, you may transfer your ticket.  Please email Valerie Merklin at vmerklin@thefair.org if you would like to change the name on your registration. 
I'm purchasing all the tickets for my group, how will the others check in? If you are purchasing multiple tickets for a group of people please have everyone in your party check in under your name.  You do not all need to arrive at the same time, through Eventbrite we will know how many in your party have checked in.
