The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Health San Antonio is excited to announce our upcoming annual Seitchik OBGYN Resident Research Day and Nasta Symposium on Gynecologic Innovation on June 21, 2024, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, including a luncheon and exhibit hall from 12:10-1:30 pm. The event will take place on the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine campus.
All physicians, midwives, nurse practitioners, and nurses from throughout San Antonio are invited.
We will kick off the morning with our research day! Eighteen of our residents will present their project proposals and completed projects. The Resident Research Day speaker this year will be Dr. Mark Hornstein, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division Director Reproductive Endocrinology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Following Resident Research Day, we will have a luncheon and an opportunity for attendees to visit with our exhibitors. The afternoon ends with the Nasta Symposium on Gynecologic Innovation. Participants can earn continuing medical education (CME) totaling 2.5 hours qualifying for Texas State Medical Board credit. Attendees will listen to a featured presentation followed by updates on the latest innovations and advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.
