Comprising the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park and the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park, we are the largest public arts institution in the City of San Francisco and one of the largest art museums in the United States.

How is the design process being changed by technological innovation? How is form being shaped by emergent tools and materials? What is the place of design in shaping human experience?
Join us for this upcoming program and networking night, part of the <A HREF="https://deyoung.famsf.org/education/thinking-machines-lecture-series" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Thinking Machines conversation series</A> at the de Young, featuring Yves Béhar, CEO and founder of Fuseproject; and Jacob Ward, former editor-in-chief of Popular Science, now Al Jazeera and CNN Correspondent and a Berggruen Fellow at Stanford's Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences.
Tickets include a viewing of the de Young special exhibition, <A HREF="https://deyoung.famsf.org/exhibitions/cult-machine" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Cult of the Machine</A>, from 6-7pm, the conversation in Koret Auditorium at 7pm, and continued conversation and mingling with a cash bar (drinks and snacks) until 9:30pm.

The event is open to all ages; however, IDs are required for the cash bar.
