<p>The importance of mediation and arbitration in resolving high-stakes intellectual property disputes is often overlooked. This two-hour CLE program, featuring experienced speakers from government, international organizations, and industry, will offer an honest and practical discussion of related topics, including:  
</p><p>ADR as a viable alternative in IP disputes.
</p><p>Understanding how IP-ADR works in Asia, Europe, and the United States. 
</p><p>Standard Essential Patents: ADR as an alternative to national forum grabs.
</p><p>The role of international IP organizations and national IP offices in ADR.

<h3>CLE: 2 hours (approved)</h3><p>CLE credit is extended to Illinois attorneys only. Attorneys who need CLE from other states are welcome to apply to their jurisdictions on their own. The extension of CLE credit is subject to approval by each state.</p><p> Attendance will be taken through the online login system. Attendees who do not attend the full conference will receive partial credit.</p>
