About this event

Oiling the body is a daily practice that can enhance overall health. Just like we learned from  the tin man in Oz, oiling can support fluid, joyful movement and soothe the nervous system. Infused oils have the healing benefits of the herbs, as well as the moisturizing benefits of the base oil. In this class we will make an infused oil; talk about cultural roots of body oiling and see a demonstration of how an infused oil can become a salve.

A ticket for the workshop is $100; we. are offering a reduced cost ticket of $25 in exchange for 3 workshare hours at our South Chicago farm. Workshare hours need to be completed a week in advance of the workshop date in order for the reduced cost to be honored. If they are not completed, the ticket holder will be charged the additional $75 upon arrival to the workshop.
