In this class we will work on the basic principles of controlling the thick and thin of your yarn. This will help the foundation of being able to spin any thickness you want. As well as building tools for controlled art yarns.

We will make a single and also cover some basics of plying possibilities and finishing the yarns.


Students should be able to generally work their spinning wheel and spin a single.

This class is intermediate spinning level. Just need to at least have the basics of spinning down and be comfortable with your wheel.


Materials needed:

Working spinning wheel. Larger orifice if possible but can make do if only have smaller.
