About this event

Most people are familiar with mood rings but there are many useful thermochromic devices such as plastic containers that indicate if the contents are hot or cold, and adhesive thermometers that can be placed on your forehead or fish tank. You can even buy thermochromic clothing and paint.

You will

• have fun making your own thermochromic material.

• work with our chemistry department faculty and cadets on campus at The Citadel in Charleston, SC.

• learn more about the Citadel experience from chemistry majors

Registration: Click on the red "Tickets" button.

Cost = $30 and includes all supplies, personal protection equipment, lunch, and snacks.

Eligibility: High school sophomores, juniors, and seniors; preference given to seniors.
