Warren Mitchell, and themes of hope, strength, healing, freedom and justice. Based on Spirituals, Powell’s art songs are lovingly surrounded by music of Byrd, Undine Moore’s I’m Going Home, Kyle Pederson’s Come By Here, and works by R.
