The tasking and sequences of work and development for an RFP vs. a commercial RD+E project and even Theme Park projects are all in the midst of evolutionary change. These evolutionary changes along with the typical process and phasing of these types of projects varies in many distinct ways. Understanding what – when – why and how regarding the developmental design practice is important because this knowledge provides the individual designer strategies for successfully contributing to overall team efforts for specific project types.
