The Palace Court Theatre in central Bournemouth, owned by AUB since 2021, is being taken through an ambitious transformation process, to create a fully functioning theatrical performance space for the use of students and the community.
Whilst essential repairs and substantial refurbishment to the theatre have already been undertaken there is still much to do to create a vibrant, positive resource in the centre of town.
We are holding three Open Site events in July to invite local creatives into the space. The purpose is to share the mission and vision of the Theatre, show the spaces available, the current technical set up and explain the booking process. If you are a local artist, theatre group, school, performer, touring theatre company that is interested in creating/ programming work in the Palace Court Theatre then this is your opportunity to hear about the venue and how you can be involved.
We welcome local creatives and touring shows to join us in continuing to redevelop the theatre and embark on a programme of imaginative adventures.
