Theater 86 is an award-winning not-for-profit 501 (c) New York City theater company.  Through exploration of new theatrical works as well as progressive re-imaginings of classics, we aim to cultivate, promote and advance theater arts for the Upper West Side community.Headed by internationally acclaimed director Aleksey Burago, T86 has delivered numerous shows to the New York City theater community, including works by Pushkin, Gogol, Chekhov, Gorky, Bulgakov, Bunin, and much more. Theater 86 opens the doors to its studio for a special open class presentation! The students of Theater Lab invite you to join us one last time at Pushkin Hall for the final class of the semester. The evening will feature scene work and adaptations inspired by Monty Python, Gone With the Wind, Anton Chekhov’s short stories, and more.Come witness the courage, imagination, and hard work of these emerging artists—and help us celebrate a semester of exploration, play, and growth!
