About this event

  • 1 hour

The Young-Tiranno Duo was formed in 2018 by violinist/pianist Elizabeth Young-Tiranno and tenor John Tiranno. Both artists spent many years in New York City, performing in famed concert halls and with renowned ensembles around the world. Accomplished in their individual careers, they joined forces as a duo to perform their unique and varied repertoire. They are most frequently heard in New York and across New Mexico, with ensembles such as the Santa Fe Symphony, Chatter, Santa Fe Opera, Santa Fe Pro Musica, Opera Southwest, and others. John and Elizabeth live in Santa Fe but continue to perform throughout the United States. The Duo frequently collaborates with Natasha Stojanovska, Macedonian pianist and composer. Dr. Stojanovska has performed solo and chamber music recitals in France, Portugal, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Romania, South Korea, Haiti and the United States, and her performances have been broadcast on WUSF public Media, Macedonian Radio and Television, WFMT Chicago, and WNIT Public Television.
