In 2025 Hastings Writers Workshop founder James Young &amp; Irish theatre-maker Helen Black started Story Club, a much loved live storytelling night. Now, Story Club returns, bigger and better than ever, as The Yarn, monthly at the fabulous French’s bar on Robertson Street.‘Your antidote to doom-scrolling, AI slop, and rage-bait. You’ll cry tears of laughter into your wine’ - Anna, writer and Story Club audience member.
