For 2022, Placer Rep is offering a class from our Professional Growth: Continuing Education program:<ul><li> #680 - Masterclass: The Writer&#x27;s Workshop </li></ul>Register to reserve your place in the class (seating limited due to social distancing).FMI see syllabus (scroll down for link to syllabus)<ul><li>401-B Vernon Street, downtown Roseville, CA </li><li>Fourth Sunday of each month January - October 2022, 3 to 5 PM</li><li>Participants attend in-person</li></ul>At the 2-hour class, <ul><li>professional actors read the writers&#x27; works-in-progress (scripts, novels, poems, lyrics) (1 to 4 works, depending upon length) </li><li>the whole class provides elevated feedback</li><li>the facilitator (T.S. Forsyth) workshops the piece with the writer and performers while maintaining an informative dialog with the rest of the workshop attendees.</li></ul>Even if your piece is not selected for that week, The Writer&#x27;s Workshop is a growth experience for writers, performers and directors that not only educates and inspires, but actually promotes rapid growth. Previously, this course has been taught at several universities and other educational and/or creative organizations/institutions. Facilitator, T.S. Forsyth, has taught at U C Davis, University of San Francisco, University of Minnesota, Shawnee State University and other educational institutions. Facilitator is an award-winning, produced and published writer (playwright, screenwriter, journalist, fiction, poetry and nonfiction author).
