Dr. Melissa Rosenberg is a Trauma Recovery Expert, and currently sees clients virtually and globally providing individual coaching services as The Secure Attachment Coach. Dr. Rosenberg specializes in the treatment of women. She is fully trained and certified in Dr. Laurel Parnell’s School of Attachment Focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as fully trained and certified by Dr. Marsha Linehan in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Dr. Rosenberg earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in Theatre at the University of Maine, her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of Southern Maine, (Summa Cum Laude), and her PhD at the University of Maine in Counselor Education, (Summa Cum Laude).

Dr. Rosenberg is passionate about infusing her identity as a Christian into her work with clients, as she respects and honors each person’s faith journey. Dr. Rosenberg has a specific calling of working with Christian women, to help them identify and heal from past trauma so that they can fully step into the abundant life that God has created them to live, both personally and professionally. Dr. Rosenberg brings the integration of faith-based practices into therapeutic coaching sessions with those clients who are interested in incorporating their faith into sessions.


Michelle G Cameron (EVENT HOST) is a passionate writer originally from Jamaica, WI; her fiery enthusiasm is displayed within her various projects. Known for her brilliant repertoire as both a precise and skillful writer, Michelle began her writing journey at the age of 15. She released her first book, “It’s My Life and I Live Here: One Woman’s Story” in 2011, which shares the loss of her mother at a young age, the loss of a marriage, and lessons learned along the way. Since then, she released several books that impact unmarried individuals, and aspiring authors, including “Write That Book: Tips For New Authors,” which was released in 2018.

Michelle also coaches authors on how to share their impactful stories to reach global audiences. Michelle also provides editing services to add a dimension of excellence to any writer’s work. Her passion to amplify the voice of the writer was featured in her brief opportunity to host “Meet The Author Show” on Exposure Plus TV, which debuted in November 2022 through March 2023. Since summer of 2023 she has led a writers’ meetup group at her home church, which has helped authors to be published and promoted.

Roshanda Pratt is a well-respected and highly sought after broadcast journalist with 20 years of experience. She is a regular contributor on local television, radio, and podcasts. Her dynamic personality and expertise have also been featured nationally on CBS’ The Talk, The Tamron Hall Show, and The Today Show. A digital pioneer in utilizing video and live streaming to increase visibility, she works to position products, personalities, and businesses. Roshanda is the founder of REP Network, known in the digital streets for her online brand, The Rosho Live where she regularly shares her faith, humor, and her television producing experience. Roshanda is the author of two books, CEO of Live Video: Discover the Fundamentals of Dominating Live Video Through the Eyes of a Producer and Visibility Is Power: Discover the Power of Being Seen and Heard. She and her husband Jacobee are creating beautiful stories with their three children in South Carolina.


Ssanyu Lukoma is also a freshman at Howard University, studying broadcast journalism. In March 2023, she was crowned Miss HBCU Teen 2023 in the annual Miss HBCU Teen Scholarship Pageant. Her platform aligns perfectly with her mission as a literacy advocate — to motivate young readers to explore diverse literature and teach them how to write their own stories.

At 13 years old, she founded Brown Kids Read, a non-profit organization dedicated to motivating all children, especially children of color, to read more diverse literature.


Since then, she created an online and pop-up bookstore called The Brown Reads Bookshelf and hosted a podcast called The Book Junkie. In 2021, she wrote and published a children’s book, “Suubi’s Sunny Smile,” through a publishing company that she founded, named Share a Smile Books. In 2023, Ssanyu published her second children’s book, “Chi-Chi’s Toothy Grin.”
She presents inspirational speeches for corporate audiences and goal-setting workshops for middle and high-school students. Some engagements include J.P. Morgan Chase, Rutgers University, Princeton University, and the annual NJEA Convention.
Ssanyu is a dynamic creator and changemaker who thrives on amplifying diverse voices, making big ideas come to life, and inspiring those around her. She wants everyone to know that regardless of age, gender, social status, or any other factors, simply being themself is enough to change the world!

Who is this event for?

This event is for established authors who want more exposure or are looking for a network of authors. Also, we are excited to welcome aspiring authors - those who know that they should write, but have questions on how/where to begin the process.

What is the dress code?

Business casual or casual.

Where exactly is the event going to be held?

At The Hyatt Centric SouthPark Hotel, inside the Apex SouthPark cul-de-sac. We will meet on the second floor.

Will I be able to stay at the hotel?

YES! There is a room block available for that week at a discounted rate. Visit www.hyattcentricsouthparkcharlotte.com and enter the code G-MGC1. If we run out of rooms, there is another hotel just steps away from the Hyatt.

Does the hotel offer room service?

Yes, and there are two restaurants inside the hotel. One is a brunch restaurant, and the other is an evening (upscale) restaurant.

What is available around/near the event location?

Several highly-recommended restaurants are a few steps away from the hotel. SouthPark Mall is less than a mile away. NOTE: Outside food is not permitted in the event space.

What are the parking arrangements?

Parking is FREE, and valet parking is also available. There is a parking deck that is shared by the businesses in Apex SouthPark.

Are meals included?

A light breakfast is included. Highly-recommended restaurants are steps away from the hotel, and the hotel has a brunch restaurant available for lunch.

How far away is the airport from the hotel?

The Hyatt Centric SouthPark hotel is approximately 30 minutes away from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Is this event refundable?

No.

Is the event accessible for those with different (mobile) abilities?

Yes - there are elevators to take you to the second floor.
