About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join the RRWA for this fun citizen science program! This is our 5th year participating in pathogens monitoring. Learn about water quality by getting out there and monitoring the Rahway River firsthand. Learn how to take samples and use a Multiparameter Water Quality Sonde to measure levels in the river. Monitoring is done by a small group of 2 to 4 people every Thursday morning during the summer. Training is short, and participation is flexible. The only requirement is that training is done, and you commit to a limited number of monitoring sessions. Please call Clea at 908-472-6152 for more information and questions.
