Have you ever wondered what makes children more or less likely to lie about certain topics? In this presentation we will discuss types of lies and what we can do as therapists to bridge the gap and increase feelings of safety during hard conversations that ultimately decrease the frequency of lying.
Participants will be able to:
- Identify the different types of lies
- Discuss examples of when each kind of lie may be used
- Implement new approaches to conversations where children may be more likely to lie

What entrance to the building do I use for the event?
There will be signs outside directing you to the correct entrance. The event will be held on the bottom floor training room of EMERGE. You will enter in the side door of the building (to the right of the parking lot, facing the building) by the concrete staircase.

What is the Refund Policy?

Your ticket may only be used for this event.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
The name on the ticket needs to match the name of the person attending the event. If you plan to buy a ticket for someone else, make sure to register with the name and email of the person planning to attend the event.
How do I receive CE credit for this workshop?
After the workshop you will receive an online evaluation. Once your evaluation is submitted electronically, you will be emailed a copy of your workshop certificate.
