About this event

Faith...works....rest; the equation for a well balanced mind, body and spirit. One thing the African Diaspora has passed on for many generations is FAITH in our creator. However, are we doing the work by caring for our bodies and minds through therapy, coaching, meditation, mindfulness, healing and self care? Are we passing on the right equation to the generations coming behind us or are we passing on intergenerational mental and physical illnesses from years of unhealed trauma? Well is the opposite of ill. In John Chapter 4, the woman at the Well accepted and acknowleged the very thing keeping her in a pattern of generational disconnect. Through her acknoweldgement she was able to leave it there and adopt a new equation on her life. Calling all women of color, represented in the diaspora. It's time to adopt a new equation for our lives: Faith..works...rest. Join us at the Well-Woman's Southern Tea. Come in your high tea hats, gloves and dresses and experience Food for the Body, Food For the Mind and Food for the Spirit at our First annual Southern Tea. Tickets are on sale today for both attendees and vendors. Brunch is included with ticket purchase. For more information, please email us at appointments@rebirthcounseling.org. See you soon!!! (Tickets must be purchased by April 12th)
