Meet, eat, and mingle with beloved local chefs as they serve their favorite breakfast dishes in a one-of-a-kind “cheftender” event and fundraiser. At "The Ultimate St. Louis Breakfast," guests will enjoy samples of sweet and savory delights while visiting with culinary pros like:<ul><li>Fr. Dominic Garramone, "The Bread Monk" of PBS fame</li><li>Lia Holter, owner of Made. by Lia and winner of “America’s Next Great Baker”</li><li>Mathew Unger, co-host and author of “Missouri Comfort”</li><li>Anne Carpenter, author of “You Had Me at Pie” and “Soup for You!”</li><li>Bethany Budde-Cohen, owner SqWires Restaurant and Market</li><li>Matt Sorrell, mixologist and author of “Matt’s St. Louis Food Story”</li></ul>The menu features a range of breakfast classics prepared with a creative twist, including:<ul><li>Tomato basil scones with sausage gravy</li><li>Chicken and waffles</li><li>Veggie strata drizzled with home grown basil pesto olive oil</li><li>Pastry combo of strudels, doughnuts, and other treats</li><li>Brunch punch</li><li>Breakfast beverages and handcrafted cocktails including mimosas, bloody marys, and espresso martinis (limit of 2 per ticket)</li></ul>Tickets are $50 per person and include complimentary food samples, coffee and juice, and two cocktail tickets. Guests will also have the option to purchase the chefs’ very own cookbooks and other merchandise.Co-sponsored by Fleischmann’s Yeast and Reedy Press, the event will benefit St. Louis ArtWorks, a year-round job training program using art to teach essential life and job skills to underserved youth.Attendance will be limited, so reserve your spot ASAP!
