About this event

  • 5 hours

Join a walking tour of the UK’s oldest continuously-operating brewery, which was home to Young’s for almost 200 years, and hear how it has been carefully redeveloped to create an award-winning leisure and lifestyle destination for southwest London. Learn about the site’s rich history and how its unique Grade-II listed buildings were integrated into the new masterplan, celebrating Ram Quarter’s special past while establishing a modern urban quarter at the heart of Wandsworth. Visit the new public spaces opened up by the redevelopment, including the Wandle riverside which was previously hidden behind the former brewery walls. We will host small, guided tours lasting around 40 minutes.
