THE TRIGGER vs THE TRAUMA

THE TRIGGER vs THE TRAUMA

568 Lee St SWAtlanta, GA
Overview

A powerful conversation exploring violence, trauma, grief, healing, and the lives forever changed on both sides of the bullet.

The Trigger vs. The Trauma is a bold and thought-provoking live podcast that examines what happens on both sides of violence. From survivors and grieving families to community leaders and those working toward prevention, this conversation will explore the realities of loss, trauma, accountability, healing, and restoration. Join us for an unfiltered dialogue that humanizes the people behind the stories and challenges us to rethink how we address violence in our communities.

What makes this conversation especially powerful is the unique lived experiences and perspectives of its hosts. Omar Howard brings a rare perspective as someone who has experienced incarceration, personal transformation, and now dedicates his life to helping others break cycles and build better futures. Aaliyah Strong Bailey brings the perspective of a homicide survivor whose fiancé was murdered in Atlanta in 2022, transforming her pain into purpose through advocacy and the creation of Tyme to Thrive Beyond Grief.
