The Treasure Valley Jazz All Stars Celebrate Saxophone Greats

Come join the Treasure Valley Jazz All Stars for their second performance at the Sapphire Room! Featuring an “All-Star” line up of jazz musicians from across the mountain west that will be presenting the music of iconic saxophonists such as Joe Henderson and John Coltrane. The quintet is co-lead by Boise based jazz musicians Derek Ganong (Trumpet) and Alex Sjobeck (Piano). Joining them for this performance is Ben Britton (Tenor Saxophone - Twin Falls, ID), Braun Khan (Bass - Logan, UT), and Brian Claxton (Drums - Denver, CO).

The Gene Harris All Stars, an advanced audition only high school combo funded by Boise State University’s Gene Harris Jazz Festival, will be opening the show.

Join us for dinner and drinks! The Sapphire Room features a full dinner and bar menu. The Sapphire Room is all-ages and family friendly. Every person that enters must have a ticket. No babes in arms.

With the purchase of a ticket, Sapphire guests are eligible for The Riverside Hotel's "Sapphire Getaway" for $169 + tax. This rate is available for the night of the Sapphire Room show and includes a standard hotel room (double occupancy) and breakfast for two the following morning.
