“The hardest thing for people to admit about themselves is that they’re going to change,” says Josh Grider. The country stalwart knows, because he’s done it himself. When you release eight albums, tour the country and abroad, sign publishing deals, top the Texas radio charts, and start a family all in just over a decade, you’re going to come out different than when you went in.

“A poet of optimism and maturity” (Lonestar Music magazine)

The Texas-by-way-of-New-Mexico songwriter and performing artist has fully embraced his status as a musical Swiss Army Knife, expanding his reach deeper into collaboration — as evidenced by projects with longtime friend Drew Kennedy (Topo Chico Cowboys, Vol. 1 and 2) and his wife. (Josh and Kristi Grider Live at Gruene Records). His songwriting prowess is in high demand as he traverses Music Row writing rooms to return to the creative well and deliver “just what country music fans need right now” (Taste of Country).

From solo sets on storied stages like the Kerrville Folk Festival to honky-tonk dance halls across the Southwest to “rock yachts” and even house concerts, Josh Grider is taking his sound further and to more people than ever before. And as an experienced craftsman approaching two decades in the industry, Grider is also jumping into the world of production.

Drew Kennedy, songwriter-troubadour, a South-Central Pennsylvania native, didn’t start playing music until college, where he played baseball. He and his wife, an art teacher, moved to the Texas Hill Country a few decades ago, where they are now raising their two boys.

Over the years, Drew has captivated audiences far and wide with his poignant storytelling and amazing craftsmanship of song lyrics. A guitar in hand and a voice that sounds like the truth, Kennedy has become a revered figure in the world of Americana and folk music.

Kennedy’s ever-expanding circle of collaborators and the list of artists who have recorded his songs includes Keith Urban, RaeLynn,Callum Beattie, Forest Blakk, The Wolfe Brothers, King Calaway, Ben Chapman, Patrick Droney, Nate Smith, Canaan Smith and more.

Drew has released nine albums as an artist, has taken part in numerous collaborations, penned a novel, and created two annual songwriter festivals.

His songs have left an indelible mark on the modern singer-songwriter landscape.

Together, Josh and Drew have released three volumes under their alter-ego-duo, the Topo Chico Cowboys
