Operated by the award-winning Big Night Entertainment Group, Empire is a 14,000-square-foot Asian restaurant and loungelocated in the Fan Pier of the Seaport area of Boston, just steps from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Empire offers a tantalizingmenu from executive Chef Kevin Long (Tosca, Shrine, Red Lantern, GEM, Scorpion Bar), stylized interior and ethereal atmosphere that will transport guests to another world. There’s no party like a hospitality industry party! Join us for the official industry after party of the New England Food Show on Sunday, March 13th! Restaurant owners, chefs, service personnel, back of house staff as well at the industry’s business partners and general public can mix, mingle, network and exchange stories about the trials and tribulations encountered in everyone’s favorite industry at this lively post-show event. 
 Admission is $25.00 per person and includes complimentary passed appetizers and a great atmosphere provided by Empire and Big Night Entertainment Group. While enjoying great food and libations (available for purchase), watch the action unfold during the “Star of the Bar” mixology competition.
 Throughout the evening Greater Boston mixologists will craft their best cocktail using Jägermeister judged by a panel of media, previous “Star of the Bar” champions, and cocktail personalities.
 The top three competitors will advance to the Boston Final held on the Show Floor of the New England Food Show at the Boston Convention and Events Center where they’ll mix it up in front of a live audience on Monday, March 14th, 2016.
Boston’s finalist will win a trip to Chicago where they’ll represent the region in the annual “Star of the Bar” competition and have a chance to claim the ultimate title and a prize of $5,000!
