The Tamburitzans at Ashton Commons Senior Living!

The Tamburitzans are delighted to bring their newest show to the residents and friends of Ashton Commons Senior Living. "It's Folk... with a Fresh Coat of Paint." says Artistic Director George "Butch" Kresovich. With a background in Entertainment at Disney, Butch knows what it takes to captivate an audience. To him, the Tamburitzan production is a delicate balancing act. "Tradition and modernity, education and entertainment, these are all ingredients mixed to perfection to craft a phenomenal show." Traversing Croatia, Bulgaria, Armenia, Ukraine and more, our 27 talented artists will escort audiences across the globe in just an hour of song and dance.

While many things have changed in the world, one thing that hasn't is the Tamburitzan Mission of Scholarship, Performance, and Tradition. All our performers are still full time college students at a Pittsburgh based college or University. Traveling on the weekends to share their talents, they then return to Pennslyvannia just in time for class Monday mornings. A Tamburitzan ticket represents not just the Arts, but the academic dreams of future teachers, lawyers, nurses, and music and business professionals.
