YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN from THE TALENT MACHINE COMPANY:
JULY 12- 21 AT ANNE ARUNDEL COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Don't miss The Talent Machine's production of the hilarious Mel Brooks musical comedy "Young Frankenstein," featuring an incredibly talented cast of performers ages 14 to 18.

About the Show:

From Music Theatre International's (MTI) description of this "monstrously funny" musical:

"Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen") inherits his family's estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced normally), Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. "It's alive!" he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds."

The production includes such memorable tunes as "The Transylvania Mania," "He Vas My Boyfriend" and "Puttin' on the Ritz."

About the Experienced Alumni Production Team:

Young Frankenstein is in the very capable and talented hands of three Talent Machine Alumni: Director Sarah Johansen, who, with her on-point comedic timing, directed the hilarious Urinetown in 2021; Music Director Andrew Gordon, and engineer by day and performer at night, who has provided music direction to several TMC shows, including the award-winning Mean Girls; and Choreographer David Grindrod, a professional choreographer, director and performer known for his incredible dancing and teaching skills.

In addition, Young Frankenstein will benefit from the choreographic talents of Vicki Smith, founder and artistic director of StageWorkz Theare Arts Project in Millersville, MD, whose graduates have performed on Broadway, in touring companies, in TV, film and regional theater across the world.
