The Takeover

The Takeover, formerly known as the YMOD Flash Mob, is the culminating experience of the 4th Annual YMOD Takeover Weekend—a powerful gathering centered on youth empowerment, brotherhood, mentorship, leadership, fashion, culture, and community.

Taking place on Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM–5:00 PM at the Wellington Community Center, The Takeover will bring youth, families, mentors, community leaders, professionals, and supporters together for an afternoon designed to inspire the next generation.

This year’s experience will feature four amazing speakers, each bringing a unique perspective and powerful message to encourage our youth and community. Through stories of perseverance, purpose, leadership, personal growth, and success, our speakers will challenge attendees to recognize their potential and take ownership of their futures.

The Takeover is more than an event—it is a showcase of purpose, pride, and potential. Attendees can expect an energetic atmosphere that celebrates young people while creating meaningful connections between generations. The experience reinforces the importance of positive role models, community support, confidence, and giving youth opportunities to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
