Bringing together Black women navigating life with fibroids for an honest conversation about healing.
HOUR ONE · ARRIVAL
THE ARRIVAL
Doors open to a room designed with intention. A question card sits at your seat: "What brought you here tonight?"
HOUR TWO · THE EXPERIENCE
TALK & PAINT - THE WOMB
Each woman receives a canvas, brushes, and paint. What does your womb feel like right now? What does it hold? What do you want it to represent? As you paint, Courtney reads prompts from the journal aloud. The conversation flows. There is no wrong way to paint this.
HOUR TWO · CONTINUED
THE JOURNAL WORK
Small groups of four to five women. One journal prompt per group - something from Phase 1 with real weight. Ten minutes of private writing and then open sharing. You will hear things in that room that remind you why you came. The journal is introduced not as a product but as a next step, the conversation that continues after tonight.
HOUR THREE · THE CLOSING
THE RELEASE
Every woman writes one thing she is releasing on a slip of paper, provided for her. She folds it and keeps it or she places it in the bowl at the center of the room. A closing ritual that marks the evening as something real. Then the room stays open with no rush. Before leaving, every woman turns to someone she didn't come with and says one true thing she is taking home.
