How hard will the hiking be?

Attendees should expect to walk approximately 2 miles over uneven terrain. Given the high elevation of the Geyser Pass Winter Trailhead location, attendees should be generally comfortable undertaking moderate level hikes.

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Water, comfortable walking shoes, clothing to stay comfortable outside for several hours, a camp chair for periodic sitting, and any medications or supplies you need to stay comfortable and safe in the mountains!

What amenities can I expect?

There will be access to a vault toilet at the parking area, and we will provide all registered attendees with coffee and a bagged lunch. We'll also bring some backup water just in case (but please bring your own water bottle)!
