This fall, The String Space is bringing violinists, violists, cellists, and double bassists together to create something special: our first Holiday Orchestra. Rehearse together each week, grow as an ensemble musician, meet other string players, and finish the season on stage at our Grand Christmas Orchestra Concert. This is a multi-generational community orchestra – all ages are welcome! Rehearsals: Fridays, 5:30–7:30 PM starting on September 18, 2026 Location: Knox United Church, 25 Gibbard Ave, Nepean, ON K2G 3T9s To meaningfully participate in the Holiday Orchestra, students should: Be comfortable reading music independently Have basic ensemble experience or be ready to learn how to play as part of a group Be able to practise assigned orchestra music between rehearsals Attend rehearsals regularly and commit to participating in the final concert Grand Christmas Orchestra Concert on DECEMBER 18
